What to expect- World Cup 2015:

. The cricket bonanza is on, and the much anticipated World Cup has finally begun.
I’ll be supporting New Zealand through the course of this tournament. I’m not being unpatriotic by saying so. I mean, I do want India to do well, but it’s high time the New Zealand team gets a reward for its hard work. So, let’s take a look at the men and teams to look out for, in this World Cup.

So, those for me, are the key players on whom all the eyes would be on. I guess, I dismiss a few of ’em. Nevertheless, I’ll update this blog with due course of time.

I, personally feel and want New Zealand a.k.a. the hosts to lift the cup this time. Keeping in mind their recent ODI performance it would be fair to say that they’ve more than just a “chance” of winning it. Many people are labeling the black caps as ‘Dark Horses’, for me they’re a strong side and are strong contenders.

Let’s talk about Team India. Unlike usual, this time the buzz is lacking here, due to the poor performance in Australia all summer, but we never know, how things might change. India doesn’t have a fancy bilateral series record before entering the World Cup. Its form wasn’t so good before the start of the 2011 World Cup, but we all know what happened once the World Cup started.

The best part of this World Cup is the fact that it’s being held in Australia and New Zealand. These two countries are ideal to play cricket in. The grounds, the weather, the crowd, everything is worth talking about.

So, that was my take on this year’s World Cup. Would surely like to hear your thoughts and analysis on the same. Till then, Happy Cricket-bonanza!
